Welcome to Carhan Springers! We have been breeding Springers for the past 35 years and through careful genetic selection we have developed a line of Springers that are gentle, sound and eager to please. Our dogs are what we believe to be truly "The Perfect Family Dog"! We now have 5 generations of our dogs on the farm. We are located on a 50 acre farm just minutes outside the city of Sarnia, Ontario and would love to have you come out for a visit. Springers are really the "Perfect Family Dog". They were originally bred as a gun dog and used for flushing and retrieving game. They are bred to stay close to their master and respond quickly to commands. They have a very soft mouth so that they can carry the game without damaging it. They are a very affectionate breed that are easy to train and live to please. They are very tolerant with young children and get along well with other pets. They mix well into any type of family as long as they are loved and played with.
